Chile’s northern gate, known as “the eternal spring city”, it is a very powerful and modern area, that offers as well, beautiful altiplanic towns, gorges populated for centuries, and archeological treasures ,that provide the possibility to admire the oldest mumies in the world. The Lauca National Park was developed in 1970 and includes Pre-Andean and altiplanic territories. Its principal attraction is Chungará Lake and its imposing emerald green color, surrounded by snow- capped peaks and a very active fauna on its cold water riverside.
